Sanders and Clinton tied in Iowa in new NPN Average

Clinton is up ahead just 0.5 points ahead of Sanders in Iowa making this the most competitive primary of either party. Sanders quickly rose through the polls in Iowa now obtaining around 43% of the vote just a week before the election.  At the beginning of December, NPN had Sanders at 32% in the Hawk Eye state with little chance to win this caucus. Even more startling was Clinton's domination in the polls with a 54% average according to NPN.  However, after a lot of failed attacks for Clinton and with Sanders preforming very well in both debates,  the first election of this primary season is now up for grabs.  Visit our Election 2016 page for full analysis of this competitive race.
